Rail Services
Rail services to and from London Victoria are fast and frequent with Southern's 49 minute service. Thameslink trains also connect Brighton to London King's Cross and Bedford and there are direct Intercity trains to Birmingham, Manchester, Scotland and Wales.
Coaches
National Express coaches run services from London and other major towns and cities around the UK!
Buses
Buses are good value and frequent, only £1.40 for a standard single across the city and £2.60 for an all-day saver. Many of Brighton & Hove's buses are named after some of the city's famous residents!
Brighton Licensed Taxis & Hackney Carriages
There are plenty of taxis and taxi ranks in the city centre, the main ones being in East Street, Queen's Square and Hove Town Hall. Or hail them in the street, they're available 24 hrs a day
Private Hire Firms
Ask at reception for details of local private hire firms, which are normally slightly cheaper, but must be pre-booked in advance
